A wide variety of volunteer opportunities including fund-raising for research and patient services, office volunteers, cancer control activities. Patient services include the latest information on most cancers and their treatments; Reach to Recovery for women facing breast cancer surgery, Look Good…Feel Better for women in treatment for cancer; quality nutrition information, mileage reimbursement for treatment visits, according to guidelines.

Description: (everyone is able to use this service) Provides friendly, courteous and timely transportation in a safe manner utilizing full-sized vans, station wagons, and wheel-chair accessible vans. Services are part of a coordinated transportation system involving the Williamsport Bureau of Transportation, the Billtown Taxi Company, and the Lock Haven Taxi Company. Reservations are required and can be made at any time. Reservations for next day trips must be made by 2:00 p.m. the previous day. Transportation is available to all disabled citizens in the service area of the Williamsport Bureau of Transportation. Transportation to the Geisinger Medical Center is also available.
