Description: The Learnng Center provides adult basic education classes to help adults prepare for taking the GED Exam. Instruction is provided at a variety of times and locations. Project Impact adult education provides focused, intense instruction to help adults on the fast track acquire their GED within a specific time frame. Description: (D&A training for teachers) Valley Prevention Services is a private nonprofit provider of substance abuse prevention and education services in Clinton and Lycoming Counties. Services include single event presentations on drug and alcohol related information to children, youth and adults provided in classroom and community based setting. Multi session services for elementary school age youth on tobacco prevention, substance abuse prevention and general lifeskills. 14 lesson program life skills program called Foundations for preschoolers ages 5 and 6 in preschool/daycare setting. DUI evaluation and education services as required by state law for persons arrested for DUI. Services for teenage Offenders Program (STOP) education course for youth arrested for alcohol violations. Work with area community based coalitions. The DUI Classroom Education Program and The STOP Program are available in the evening. Other services may also be available in the evening.
