Description: (cleanings,x-rays,exams,selants) The Dental Hygiene students at Penn College provide preventative dental services consisting of dental prophylaxis/cleanings & x-rays for the general public. During the Spring semester, January through April, the second year students can also apply sealants. Patients should be aware that this is a learning experience for the students and they are graded on their work. Due to the grading process, this can become very time-consuming for the patient. Each appointment takes the majority of the four hours and may require additional visits. It is very important that patients keep their appointments, or give the clinic 24-hour notice otherwise. If a petient cancels or does not show up for two or more appointments, we will no longer schedule future appointments for them. Appointment required
