AmeriCorps is the national service program that provides thousands of Americans of all ages and backgrounds with education awards in exchange for a year or two of community service.  AmeriCorps opens the door for citizens to serve in a variety of ways.  Through their serive and the volunteers they mobilize, AmeriCorps members address critical needs in communities throughout America.

Key Community Impact:  AmeriCorps members provide over 30,000 hours of service to our communities at a value in excess of $600,000 each service year.  Members earn an education award, gain valuable experience and satisfaction of making a real difference.
