The Lycoming County Health Improvement Coalition is a voluntary collaboration of 37 board members and over 50 Task Force Team volunteers representing various sectors of the community, including religious organizations, schools and higher education, minority groups, municipal and county government, public health, health care, civic and community organizations, the private sector, and social welfare organizations. We believe that collaboration builds bridges between organizations and the community members, brings together human and monetary resources for effective use, develops trust in the community, and allows us to address the complex social problems we face that are too overwhelming for any single organization to solve. |
